TSA provides opportunities for leadership, development, and training.  Through individual and group action, members develop the ability to plan, organize, and carry out worthy activities and projects together.  Emphasis is placed on social development, civic consciousness, scholastic motivation, and community involvement.

Student members of TSA will develop leadership skills, pride in work and high standards of technical ability,  scholarship and safety.

The Clay-Chalkville TSA members will conduct fundraisers, county TSA competition, state TSA competition, and hopefully national TSA competition 

Fund Raisers- TSA members will raise money for your yearly field trip to be decided by the members. 

County Competition- TSA members will compete against other TSA clubs throughout Jefferson County.

State Competition- TSA members will compete against other TSA clubs throughout the state.

National Competition- TSA members who win the state competition will represent the stato of Alabama in Tampa, Florida.

Dragster Design Challenge, Flight Challenge, Mechanical Challenge, Problem Solving, Structural Challenge, Technical Design Challenge, Technology Bowl, Video Challenge
