What is the Accelerated Reader Program?
"Accelerated Reader is an innovative computerized learning information system that provides critical data to help teachers motivate and monitor student reading practice. Students use the program by reading a book of their choosing and taking a short computer quiz. The computer then scores the quiz, assigns the student points depending on the degree of success, and provides the teacher and student with reports detailing the student's progress."
CCMS students and parents can access a list of available AR titles by following the links below. The AR titles can be searched according to Title, Grade Level, and Author. These lists are also available at the Springville Road and Trussville Public Libraries.
