The purpose of the Diamond Dolls is to promote good school spirit and good sportsmanship by providing service and support to all those associated with the Clay-Chalkville Middle School baseball program.  In order to be chosen to be a Diamond Doll, the candidates must meet strict guidelines set forth by the Jefferson County Board of Education and have general knowledge about the rules of baseball.

During the baseball season the Diamond Dolls have great responsibilities.  They sell tickets at the gate, work the concession stand, keep score and recover foul balls.  They also meet after school at least once a week to make signs used to announce the games and to make game day goodies for the baseball players.  They dedicate their time and effort for the best baseball team in Jefferson County.
